Here are a couple of recommendations for you to consider when creating a sanctuary for prayer in your home:
The Lord is telling us to make our home a house of prayer. Please set up/make a sanctuary at home for prayer and reading
sacred scripture etc.
During the week, the family should spend some time together in front of this sanctuary praying. It is recommended that
on the weekend, the family should spend one hour reading the scripture, praying and singing hymns and receive the grace of
receiving a Spiritual Communion following the steps given above. If you wish you may share the picture of your sanctuary with
others so that they may be inspired to make one at their home.
Call the parish office if you have any spiritual need/s like anointing the sick in extreme situation, confession and Holy
Communion for the dying. 361-297-5255
March 25th is the 10th anniversary of the Episcopal ordination of our Bishop Michael Mulvey. Please say a special prayer
for him.
Follow the instructions of the Public Health Authorities. PHA refers to the local county Health authority.
CCD Classes---As our children and young adults are not able to attend CCD classes parents and other elders in the family
may take interest in helping them to learn about Christian faith.
